What’s in a Debate?
We’ve seen better. This is true. Both contenders in the Presidential Debate this last round gave weak performances. It was pretty abysmal to watch. Here’s the deal though. If this debate is impacting your decision who to vote for, then you’re doing democracy wrong. These are both known quantities. We’ve seen Donald Trump’s severe mishandling of the COVID pandemic. We’ve seen him lie, cheat, steal. He’s a convicted felon. We know this. We know that he’s, if not committed to enforcing Project 2025, parroting talking points directly from its pages. We know that the Heritage Foundation chose his judges for him. We know that he intentionally tanked progress on immigration to make himself look good.
We know that he’s responsible for January 6, and is a convicted insurrectionist.
If none of this has made your mind up, and you still view these people as similar, then you need to go back and review our other podcast episodes. We’ve been talking about this stuff for years, and you missed a lot of good information.
So debate or not, it shouldn’t matter by this time.
