Representative Democracy…for Sale—Sold!
Citizens United? Corporations are not people, but for some reason the Supreme Court thinks they are. Roe vs. Wade? Supreme Court is over that too. We have one blatantly corrupt justice (looking at you Clarence Thomas). We have another who wouldn’t have been appointed except for Donald Trump running interference on his investigations. Donald Trump has already said that he’s for sale. He said that billionaires should support him and he’d do their bidding. A billionaire is working hard to get Donald Trump elected.
For sale. Sold. Corruption is baked in.
The courts can’t save us. Responsible voting is how we save ourselves, and that means making choices in the right order:
Preserves our ability to continue to have influence over our government.
Fulfill the United States’ message of equality to the world.
While you can, get out and vote. Don’t stop til this mess is cleaned up, and not even then.
