Bloodied Hands

You know what will save us? Praying harder. This is what the Republican party would like you to believe — that our nation is falling apart due to a lack of prayer. You know what the real problem is? A lack of leadership. Look at Texas, where even while trying to say that guns aren’t the issue — and pushing mental health as the real issue — Greg Abbot thought that Texans had already forgotten that his party cut mental health assistance in his state. Also, Ted Cruz. What’s the deal with having a single door on a school? That’s insane. It’s wild to see these politicians bending themselves over backward to avoid calling a spade a spade. You know what every single recent mass shooting had in common? The AR-15. Churches, schools, night clubs, festivals. Hell, as I type this police are investigating another mass shooting in Taft, Oklahoma. It just doesn’t end.

Between you and us, Texas has beefed up security more than almost any other state. And yet, look what happened. As anyone intelligent says, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Prevention is the one thing that Republicans don’t want to talk about. Listen to this podcast episode for more!
