Out of the Closet…

Opening up to other experiences, or cultures, is a way of growth. This is one of the reasons its such a big deal for people to be willing (and able) to come out as what they truly are: so that others can learn and still others feel a little less alone. DEI is how we break down those barriers between the majority and the minority groups in this nation. We only become stronger as a nation as we learn to trust each other, and learn from our past. Education, and exposure to other cultures and ideas, truly make us more resilient as a society.

When we have DEI, and we do it correctly, intercultural trust rises. When we truly can understand each other, we gain trust, and with trust, comes efficiency.
