Democracy on the Ballot

We just heard the news that the Biden is out as the presidential candidate. Why? We’re not sure. There’s no clear successor who’s likely to win. We’re very proud of Kamala Harris, though we do have reservations about this nation coming together because of what she represents. If we acknowledge that MAGA was formed from the hurt feelings of white Christians (no, not all white Christians), then we have to acknowledge that we are still struggling with the ideas of people who we are biased against holding power.

That said, now that Biden is out, we need to get behind the new candidate, who very likely will be Kamala Harris. All of the Biden naysayers who got your way…you should now fix the damage you’ve done by coming out in force as a fierce advocate for whoever comes onto the democratic ticket next.
