The New MAGA-tron

Do you remember, in the Transformers franchise, when the main villian Megatron died? Well, the many times that Megatron died? I bring this up because right now, the Republican leaders in the House of Representatives share a lot in common with the Decepticons, from their inability to actually function as a team, to their ineptitude when they actually do try to work together. My point here is a simple one though. Every time Megatron died, either he came back to life as himself or as his extremely similar counterpart, Galvatron who was…let’s face it…Megatron with a slightly updated look.

Cue in Kevin McCarthy, the inept leader beholden to MAGA extremists who tried to govern, but couldn’t without Democratic support, and even then botched things so badly that his own party kicked him out. Yeah, I failed to find a Decepticon analogy for that one. Now, though, who should the Decepticons…uh, I mean Republicans…pick to lead them except none other than Galvatron. Another version of McCarthy, only just like Galvatron, they found a more insane MAGA extremist, one who outright denied the election BIG LIE and helped work to overthrow our government.

Hence, more of the same, and carry on. Democrats will still have to figure out how to keep our government functional with a lunatic at the helm of the house. Don’t believe us? Listen to this podcast and find out.
