Order in the Women's Rights
Abortion rights is a losing battle for Republicans, so why are they so hell-bent on keeping it on the ballot? The Arizona situation (recently fixed by Democratic effort) is extremely unpopular with the people. Very few women, and increasingly men, are against the idea that women should be relegated to second-class citizens. Election after election is proving how dispopular this idea is. Yet Donald Trump keeps reminding us that he's the reason Roe was overturned, but let's be clear on this: it's not just him. Without Mitch McConnel, who clearly despises Donald Trump, holding open the Supreme Court justice seat despite years of precedence, he'd never have had the chance. And he couldn't have done it by himself, nor would he have without the support of the folks in Senate to support him. The Republican leadership is out of touch with their base. But they'll never back dwn. Why? We discuss it in this podcast episode of Right and Freedom.
