If It Quacks Like A Traitor…

Donald Trump is very upset about the “raid” at Mar-A-Lago. Well, I mean, nobody fast-roped from helicopters or blew down the door to rush in like a Liam Neeson movie. And it wasn’t actually a surprise as the FBI had asked for the documents they were seeking months before. And they did deliver a signed warrant by a federal judge before entering the premises and conducting a thorough search.

So, not a raid at all, really. More of a perfectly legal search of the home of someone who is no longer president yet somehow wanted to keep over 20 boxes of classified documents.

Hmmm… sounds perfectly legal to me. I wonder what the problem is? Maybe it’s all the socialists that John Mackey keeps talking about. The minimum wage is killing America and corporate responsibility is the bane of our existence, people are too lazy to work…

Well, none of that. The fact is that Trump quite literally stole documents and refused to return them. It really is that simple. And the rest of that stuff is window dressing. I do realize that the John Mackey thing was a bit of a non-sequitur, but had to wedge that in somewhere. The fact is that many Republicans do exactly what Mackey did: assign the label of socialism whenever they can’t take advantage of their workers.
